Couple questions about BCT

So I ship to Benning on 4 Jan, and have 2 questions.

1. I have a very thick beard, (25 years old, so its all there) So I have a shadow as soon as I shave basically. How is this going to be handled at BCT? I assume I am going to get singled out alot for it, but there is nothing I can do about it, but shave every morning

and

2. When I get out of the shower, I tend to have light dry skin. No excema or anything like that, it just drys out. Its nothing that bothers me physically, but it just looks white and dry. What i was wondering is if I would be allowed to being just a small amount of lotion or get it at the PX? Not alot, just a little for after a shower.

Any Ideas on any of this? I am going reguardles, but I am just curious about these 2 things, and noone seems to be able to answer it.

The drill sergeants might give you a hard time the first couple days with that shadow..."Did you shave this morning, private?" you will say yes and they will tell you that you didnt... and make you go shave again. ( had friend with same problem during basic )But once you go shave again and they see your shadow.... well, they will leave you alone.
As for the dry skin and lotion, you can buy that at the PX. As long as it doesnt have an odor, they wont give you any greif.

How much time do you get to shave in the morning?? it takes me at least 5 minutes to shave cuz its so think i have to shave every day what a curse. I I'm Italian and French so go figure..lol
