Guardsmen in basic

I know a few people who are active army. They are always giving me crap for joining the ng. I'm still glad I did because I want to go to school before I go active. I have been told by a few active duty guys and guardsmen that ng soldiers dont get equal treatment in basic. One active duty guy even told me that he felt during his AIT that the instructors focused more on the active duty guys than people in the guard. People that have been to basic, whats your thoughts on this?

I had no problems in basic, because my drill instructers were Army Reserve. However, when I went to AIT, every day I heard how pathetic NG is and how we are inferior to Active duty. Every time we would mess up we would hear... ooo its because you are NG... so its stupid but yea,
You will still receive the same training as Active duty soldiers, but some instructors will just give you crap for being NG... its no big deal really. Just annoying. Get through training and you wont hear it any more!
