I got out in 98 after completing my six year service. I never used my GI Bill benefits but am thinking of going back to school. Am I still eligible or is there a time limit on that?

Talk to the Veteran's Office at your school of choice, they will assist you in applying for benefits. I don't think your benefits have expired.
You can also increase your monthly payment by serving in the Guard or Reserves! Many other great benefits, too. I started out active duty, then did the "Guard thing" throughout college. Ended up staying for 15 more years.
Good luck!

Hello,
My name is Yanoscky and I'm an admission advisor for kaplan University in the military team. To answer your question about the GI bill;Yes you still have benefits for the GI bill as of right now you have about 2 years and some months until your benefits go away. As of now you have about 37,000 dollars in the fund to use for school. If you are interested in going to school online please feel free to contact me so I may help.
Thanks
