Military Pay

My son started basic Sept 15. He had a direct deposit Oct. 11. Is that the pay for the 2 weeks in Sept. or the 2 weeks in Sept. plus the 1st week of Oct. Just curious as I am taking care of his money matters at the moment.

Military pay goes by usualy the 1st and the 15th of the month, while on active duty you technicaly do get paid per day you serve, but once your in your 1st and 15th pay check should look the same, so for the 11th of october is most definatly for the 2 weeks in sept, he should be recieving another deposit today friday the 13 for october
