BCT for Women

I was wondering if there was only certain Forts that women went too for basic and AIT training? I know I thought I had read that it was Fort Jackson and one other place, can someone let me know?????

Women go to either Fort Jackson or Fort Leonard Wood for Basic.

OK, really stupid question I have. Do men & women do PT together? Sleep in the same barricks? Run together? Are the DS's REALLY easier on women for basic than compared to the men? Thanks for your replies guys.:)

I didn't know that we could only go to Ft. Jackson or Ft. Leonard Wood... who had told you that?
I think we do everything together... we dont sleep in the same barricks im sure..
I have also heard that they are not easier on us, they train the girls to keep up with the guys.

I'm a female and I just graduated from BCT from ft lwood. my ds actually treated us the same. they expected everyone to max out THEIR pt scores not to catch up with the males. Males stayed on the second and third floor and females stayed on the first floor. which made no sense bc there were more females than males. I thin kthat it was b/c USUALLY there are more males and they had always put the males on 2 floors so they just kept it that way. i think. but anywho.
