Who makes up the Hero on Call program?
The Hero on Call program is made up of Army National Guard Soldiers throughout the United States. The Army National Guard experience represented by our operators covers several specialties including: Airborne Infantry, Administrative specialists and Medical specialists, Air Defense Artillery, Military Police, Chemical, Communications, Finance, Human Resource Specialists, Dental Specialists, Parachute Riggers and Cavalry Scout Soldiers.
When are the Hero on Call operators online?
Hero on Call operators are currently available from 0800 to 0300 hours (8 a.m. to 3 a.m.) EST. Keep in mind that during high traffic times you may not be able to chat with a live operator. But if you request a chat when operators are offline or busy, you can still ask a question via our “Leave a Message” for a “Hero on Call” operator who will answer your inquiry within 24 to 48 hours of receiving it.
Who uses the Hero on Call program?
There are no restrictions on who can use Hero on Call. We’ve chatted with high school students, teachers, parents, grandparents and Active Duty members from all services.
