My Story I joined the military because I had family in the Army National Guard. I also joined because of the many benefits the guard offers. When I heard that the guard would pay for my college I could not resist. I then joined the Signal Core.

I became a 25L which is Cable Installer and Maintainer. I have been a 25L for five years now and am moving on to 42A, which is Human Resources Assistance.

The guard has given me so many opportunities and has helped me every step of the way. I know have a full time job as a technician in the Army National Guard and enjoying every minute of it.

Basic Training Ft. Knox, Advanced Individual Training Ft. Gordon Company, Positions etc. Joint Force Headquarters of the State of Florida, Overseas, disaster relief etc. . .Hurricane relief: Charlie, Ivan, Francis, Dean and Katrina Specialties, Additional Skill Identifiers, Leadership Courses, Etc. . . 25L (Communications) Cable Installer and 42A Human Resources Assistant.
