SSG Steven C. Handwork—Hero On Call

I joined the Army National Guard originally for a sense of doing something both for myself and my country, and to do something different than the rest of my peers. The experience I have gained has been absolutely life-changing and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I have grown in a huge way as a person since my initial entry in the Guard and plan to make a career in the Guard, hopefully on the Active side of things.
